Best: Britney's comeback was in full swing last night at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards as she wowed the crowd in an impeccable silver frock, strappy heels, and a smile.

Best: We love to hate on Spencer Pratt, but at least he wore a suit to the event! Meanwhile, his honey Heidi Montag attempted her best rock 'n' roll look in a sparkling mini and black booties.
Worst: The ladies still love LL Cool J, but they'd love him even more if he'd tried a little harder on the red carpet.
Worst: Couldn't DJ Fatman's wife Shaunda dress him before hitting the red carpet? The dress socks and sandals combination was particularly heinous.
