Michael Cera Ready With "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" - Early Review And Movie Trailer

The Fall movie season is starting to heat up, and on deck this week is the Michael Cera comedy "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" due October 3.

Cera, known for his roles in "Juno", "Superbad" and the cult favorite television series "Arrested Development", once again shows us why moviegoers love the young actor.

Michael Cera plays high school student Nick O'Leary, a member of the Queercore band "The Jerk Offs", who meets Norah Silverberg (Kat Dennings), and she asks him to be her boyfriend for five minutes while Nick is still getting over his recent breakup with his one true love Tris.

But everything falls apart when Nick sees Tris out and about with another man.

How could she have moved on so fast?

Nick, in a desperate attempt to show Tris he's moved on also, turns to Norah and asks her to be his five-minute girlfriend. This begins the night of Nick, Norah and Manhattan, which consists of stripping nuns, hotel ice rooms, Russian food, psychotic ex-boyfriends and lovingly trashy ex-girlfriends. It's the night of Julio and Salvatore, holding hands and writing songs and singing in the rain.

It's a night they'll never forget - but wish they could.

Michael Cera told reporters at the movie premier,

"It's not a teen film. The movie is really about that vibe you have when you meet someone great on one night and then run the risk of losing him or her forever.

Just don't dig too deep when it comes to the grand meaning of it all.

It's not something I've personally gone through or a fantasy for me, it's just the story, you know - just the way the script was written."

Cera will also be seen next year in the Harold Ramis adventure comedy "Year One", starring Cera and Jack Black. Cera will play a man in the biblical age, where after a couple of lazy hunter-gatherers (Black and Cera) are banished from their primitive village, they set off on an epic journey through the ancient world.

Cera is currently filming the romantic comedy "Youth in Revolt" due in April, where he plays the character Nick Twisp. The film revolves around Nick, a 14-year-old boy whose trailer trash parents are teetering on the edge of divorce. Nick sets his sights on his dream girl Sheeni Saunders (Portia Doubleday), hoping that she'll be the one to take away his virginity.

Adnan Ghalib Claims To Have Britney Spears Sex Tape

With friends like Adnan Ghalib, who needs enemies?

Ex Spears boyfriend Adnan recently told Heat Magazine that he is in possession of a sex tape involving Britney Spears, and is shopping it around for the best price.

The sex tape, allegedly made during the short time Ghalib dated the singer, is said to have been made in Mexico with Spears wearing only a pink wig. Remember the pink wig? Remember when she flew to Mexico to meet Mel Gibson during her breakdown just so she could "Get Away" for a while?

Adnan also told the magazine the sex tape was over two hours long, and he would sell it if the price were high enough. He also said,

"I won't discuss prices for hypothetical inquiries. Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further."

Spears attorneys must be foaming at the mouth over this one, as a nasty and public legal battle would surly ensue over the tape.

Also, Spears returned to the courtroom last week to appeal her driving without a licenses charge. Attorney J. Michael Flanagan filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday seeking a stay in the criminal case.

Flanagan also wants an appellate judge to order the judge overseeing the case to grant Spears' motion to dismiss.

The 26-year-old singer is scheduled to go on trial in October on a single misdemeanor charge that she did not have a valid California license when she hit a parked car in August 2007 and left the scene.

Spears also has a new album "Circus" due to be released on December 2, and is planning a possible world tour next year.

Heather Locklear Arrested For DUI

Heather Locklear was arrested Saturday night on suspicion of driving while impaired. The actress was pulled over while driving near Santa Barbara California.

Law enforcement officers told reporters that alcohol was not involved, which means they suspect some type of drugs, and are conducting tests to determine if Locklear was under the influence.

Locklear was released on her own recognizance, without having to post bail.

News reports said on Saturday that a witness saw Locklear driving irregularly while leaving a parking lot. A California Highway Patrol officer later located her car parked on the side of the road and blocking traffic near Santa Barbara, about 90 miles northwest of Los Angeles.

The officer believed Locklear was under the influence and arrested her.

Locklear gained television stardom appearing in the television shows "T.J. Hooker", "Dynasty", "Melrose Place" and "Spin City". Locklear will also be seen next year in the Miley Cyrus family comedy "Hannah Montana: The Movie".

She has also completed work on the musical drama "Flying By", about a real estate developer who goes to his 25th high school reunion without his wife, and finds his old teenage band playing - and joins.

The couple wed on Saturday, her representative confirmed.

The wedding occurred at a remote wilderness resort outside Vancouver, and guests included Scarlett's mother, Melanie Sloan, and her brother, Adrian Johansson.

Saturday Night Live Spoofs Presidential Debate - Video

Saturday Night Live was on fire last night. If not for their opening skit with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as Sarah Palin and Katie Couric, then for the spoof of the Presidential debate last week.

When asked about the War in Iraq, Hammond as McCain said that he had wanted the troop surge since 1985, before the war even started.

And when criticized by Obama (Fred Armisen) that he had supported George Bush 95% of the time, Hammond responded that he had never supported President Bush, had always undermined him, abandoned his party, and was disloyal and untrustworthy to the office.

When asked how he would deal with nuclear weapons in North Korea, Obama (Armisen) said he would play the race card with North Korea.

The best part of the skit was the ending, when the camera panned to Amy Poehler as Hilary Clinton, who had shown up just in case McCain didn't make it on time.

Tina Fey Returns As Sarah Palin For Katie Couric Skit On SNL - Video

Tina Fey returned to Saturday Night Live last night to reprise her role as Alaska Governor Sara Palin.

This time, it was to spoof the horrendous interview the Vice President nominee had with news anchor Katie Couric last week.

Related Story: Tina Fey With Hilary Clinton On SNL - Nailed It - Video
Related Story: Darrell Hammond Does John McCain On SNL - Video

As usual, the skit was spot-on. Amy Poehler played the part of Couric, and of course, Tina Fey played Sarah Palin. Amy Poehler asked Sarah Palin what she thought of her trip to New York so far, and Palin's answers were classic.

Fey told Poehler she was shocked because she had "at least 15 to 20 false alarms" where she thought she spotted Osama Bin Laden driving a taxi, and in an effort to "bone up" on foreign policy had visited Time Square to see a movie called "The Bush Doctrine", but was disappointed when the film had nothing to do with politics.

When asked about her trip to the United Nations, Palin (Fey) told Couric (Poehler) that she was disheartened at all the "foreign people" that were there, and that when her and McCain are elected they will work hard to "get those jobs" back in the hands of Americans.

When asked about John McCain shutting down his campaign to work on the economic crisis, and the $700 billion bailout, Tina Fey responded with a convoluted, econo-babble, sound-bite heavy response that made absolutely no sense at all. The live audience loved it. Amy Poehler was great as Katie Couric, with her puzzled looks and uneasy body language.

When asked what lessons she had learned from the Iraq war, and how she would spread democracy, Palin was not able to give specific responses. After being asked again, Fey told Poehler, "I'd like to use one of my life-lines. I'd like to phone a friend".

The skit was classic old-school SNL at its best.

Actor Paul Newman Dies Of Cancer - He Was 83

Paul Newman, the Oscar Award winning actor, and husband of Joanne Woodward, known for his suave roles in movies such as "Cool Hand Luke" and "The Color of Money" has died from lung cancer.

Paul Newman was 83, and is survived by his wife, five children, two grandsons and his older brother Arthur Newman.

Newman's death occurred Friday evening at his home following a long battle with lung cancer, publicist Jeff Sanderson said. His family and close friends surrounded Newman to the end.

During the course of his career, Paul Newman was nominated for ten Academy Awards, winning one Oscar and two honorary awards, and starred in over fifty motion pictures, including "Exodus," "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," "The Verdict," "The Sting" and "Absence of Malice", 'Cool Hand Luke", "The Hustler" and "The Color Of Money" to name only a few.

Newman's list of movies is too long to list here, and we invite you to review his esteemed career and list of works provided here: "Paul Newman Site At IMDB".

In addition to acting, Newman was an activist, a racecar owner and driver, and popcorn entrepreneur. He was a also best friend to fellow actor Robert Redford, who created the "Sundance film Festival".

Newman became a racecar owner and formed a partnership with Carl Haas, starting Newman/Haas Racing in 1983, and joined the CART series. Hiring Mario Andretti as their first driver, the team was an instant success, and throughout the last 26 years, the team - now known as Newman/Haas/Lanigan and part of the IndyCar Series - has won 107 races and eight series championships.

Newman had a soft spot for underdogs in real life, giving over $250 million to charities through his food company and foundation "Newman's Own", and setting up camps for severely ill children through his "Hole In The Wall" camps program.

In May 2007, he told ABC's "Good Morning America" he had given up acting, though he intended to remain active in charity projects saying.

"I'm not able to work anymore as an actor at the level I would want to," he said. "You start to lose your memory, your confidence, your invention. So that's pretty much a closed book for me."

Newman had two daughters, Susan and Stephanie, and a son, Scott, from a previous marriage to Jacqueline Witte. Scott died in 1978 of an accidental overdose of alcohol and Valium. After his only son's death, Newman established the Scott Newman Foundation to finance the production of anti-drug films for children.

Thanks for a great life Mr. Newman. The world will miss you.

Kirk Cameron Sets Box Office On Fire With "Fireproof" - Review And Movie Trailer

Kirk Cameron has not been seen on a movie screen in seven years, but guess who is the hottest ticket heading into the weekend?

With regard to advance sales, Cameron's dramatic "Fireproof", a super low-budget marriage themed family Christian drama opening in 800 theaters, has out-sold Shia LaBeouf's $105 million, country-wide opening of thriller "Eagle Eye".

Related Story: Shia LaBeouf In "Eagle Eye" - Early Review And Movie Trailer

But don't let the numbers fool you. The concept of advanced sales doesn't always shed accurate light on the long-term success of a film. In fact, it can be downright misleading. Industry analysts are not surprised, and believe the religious nature of the film lends itself to aggressive group sales.

That market for "Fireproof" is largely made up of churchgoers and secular Christian groups, the audiences that helped make Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ" a blockbuster, and the popular "Left Behind" book series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins.

Christian leader James Dobson's Focus on the Family highly commended "Fireproof", and talked-up the film relentlessly on his radio shows, even airing an interview with Kirk Cameron.

And the Baptist Press urged readers: "Get your church behind it. Mark the weekend of Sept. 26-28 on your calendar. And go see it."

"Fireproof" made up over 40 percent of all advance sales this week on Fandango and Movietickets.com , the services said. "Eagle Eye" came in second.

Kirk Cameron, 37, became famous with his role on the television series "Growing Pains", and has recently become known for his work with his Christian ministry and the TBN show, "The Way of the Master". Cameron also starred in the first two movies from the Rapture-focused "Left Behind" series.

"Fireproof" stars Kirk Cameron as Caleb Holt, who lives by the old firefighter's adage: Never leave your partner behind. Inside burning buildings, it's his natural instinct. In the cooling embers of his marriage, it's another story.

After a decade of marriage, Caleb and Catherine Holt (Erin Bethea ) have drifted so far apart that they are ready to move on without each other. Yet as they prepare to enter divorce proceedings, Caleb's dad asks his son to try an experiment: "The Love Dare".

While hoping The Love Dare has nothing to do with his parents' newfound faith, Caleb commits to the challenge. But can he attempt to love his wife while avoiding God's love for him? Will he be able to demonstrate love over and over again to a person that's no longer receptive to his love? Or is this just another marriage destined to go up in smoke?

David Archuleta Cornfield Maze - Story And Photo

Here is how you know when you are too obsessed with a celebrity or television show - When you carve a maze resembling the celebrity into your cornfield. A celebrity crop circle, if you will.

In a bizarre form of admiration, "American Idol" winner David Archuleta has been honored in his home state of Utah with a 10-acre maze cut into the cornfield of a local farmer.

The maze shows the singers image and a slogan that reads "Archuleta 4 President." Maze creator, and talented cornfield artist Jeff Herbst told local reporters:

"We really thought of doing Obama and McCain at first, but everyone we talked to was sick of the candidates, then we said, Let's do Archuleta."

Herbst also told reporters he had to get permission from Archuleta's agent and father before starting the tribute corn maze. Herbst said the maze was a good way to honor the Utah native's musical victory.

Maze visitors are also being entered into a contest for a chance to win an autographed copy of Archuleta's new album when it's released Nov. 11, 2008.

While he wasn't sure if Archuleta would be able to see the maze in person because of his newly found Hollywood schedule, Herbst said it would be an honor to have the young star visit his creation.

The corn maze will open to the public starting Friday, and will stay open until November 1. In addition to the corn maze, the farm offers other various attractions from hayrides to pumpkin picking.

David Archuleta received over 40 million votes during his run on "American Idol" earlier this year. Now he is bigger now than ever before - literally.

Dylan And Cole Sprouse On Jimmy Kimmel - All Grown Up - Video

Last night, Dylan and Cole Sprouse appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show and showed the world they are growing up.

The twins are now 16 years old, and talked about their recent birthday party, dating girls, and trying to get away from each other on the weekends.

Dylan admitted he dated Miley Cyrus, and detailed the events of how the date went down before Nick Jonas showed up and ruined everything.

The brothers then talked about getting their drivers licenses next month, while Kimmel quizzed the two on their upcoming driving test.

Dylan and Cole also talked about their current hit teen television show "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody", a comedy about identical twins living at the Tipton Hotel with their single mother who is a lounge singer at the hotel.

But the reason for the Kimmel appearance was to plug their new show, "The Suite Life On Deck", a spin-off of the hit Disney Channel series "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody," where the twin brothers Zack and Cody Martin and hotel heiress London Tipton enroll in a semester-at-sea program aboard a ship called the SS Tipton.

Here is a bit of InfoStar trivia - Remember the early 1990's sitcom "Grace Under Fire" starring Brett Butler? Well, Dylan and Cole Sprouse both portrayed the character Patrick Kelly for over one hundred episodes. The two looked so much alike that producers used them both during production to get around the short work hour rules for child actors.

In addition to their "Suite Life" day job, Dylan and Cole Sprouse can be seen starting December 12 in the adventure movie "The Kings Of Appletown", about three kids: Betsy (Victoria Justice), Clayton (Cole Sprouse), & Will (Dylan Sprouse) who go on an adventure to save a city by going back in time to where Tom Sawyer lived.

John McCain Snubs Frustrated David Letterman - Video

John McCain put David Letterman on the hot seat last night when he called the talk show host and cancelled his appearance at the last minute. Letterman was not happy, and had to find a last minute guest to fill his spot.

The problem? Letterman learned that McCain was only five blocks away at the time doing an interview with Katie Couric.

Letterman became especially upset when he caught the Republican presidential nominee in a live feed from New York being interviewed by his own network's Katie Couric. McCain had personally told Letterman he was canceling because he was headed back to the capital to handle the financial crisis.

Letterman told his audience that when things get tough, it is not the time to suspend a campaign, and that something didn't smell right. His comments also criticized Sarah Palin, McCain's old age, and the whole issue of the Financial Meltdown.

Letterman speculated that McCain did not cancel because of the financial crisis, but rather because of problems in his poll numbers.

At one point, Letterman interrupted his guest, Keith Olbermann, to show the audience the live feed of Couric's show and John McCain getting his makeup touched up. Letterman screamed at the camera, "John, do you need a ride to the airport?"

Drew Barrymore Caught Making Out With Gossip Girl Ed Westwick

Young "Gossip Girl" star Ed Westwick has been stirring the tabloid pot with some juicy gossip this week. Westwick was seen hanging all over Drew Barrymore around the New York City hot club scene last weekend.

Drew Barrymore, 33, and Ed Westwick, 21, were seen partying together until the early hours of the morning after leaving the Saturday Night Live after-party, says US Weekly magazine. One reporter commented, "They were definitely all over each other. It was on."

The lovebirds were seen again Tuesday night at a music concert at Webster Hall, where they proceeded to show everyone a full-blown make-out session before moving their romance to an after-party at the Bowery Electric, according to the magazine. "Drew was hanging all over Ed!"

Barrymore, known for her attraction to much younger men, has a history of being seen in public while displaying very intimate behavior. But there is one sticking point to this Drew Barrymore issue…

It's the rumor that never dies; Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick being a young, hot gay couple. It has also been reported that Crawford and Westwick were seen making out in a Los Angeles nightclub over the weekend.

According to the gay and lesbian magazine BGay, the two young actors were all over each other at a Los Angeles dance club Saturday, but the source couldn't confirm if they were just having a good time hanging out together, or if there was something more going on between them.

Rumors have been rampant for months that Westwick, and possibly Crawford, are gay.

You never know in young Hollywood. Sometimes what is good on Friday night is not as good on Saturday Night. And then again, maybe some people just like the best of both worlds.

Along with his "Gossip Girl" duties, Ed Westwick will be seen next year starring in the sci-fi thriller "S. Darko", where the story picks up seven years after the first film, when little sister Samantha Darko and her best friend Corey are now eighteen and on a road trip to Los Angeles when they are plagued by bizarre visions.

Drew Barrymore is currently filming the comedy "Whip It!" due next year. Drew is both starring and directing the film about an indie-rock loving misfit who finds a way of dealing with her small-town misery after she discovers a roller derby league in nearby Austin.

Chace Crawford has just completed work on the thriller "The Haunting of Molly Hartley" due October 31, about Molly (Haley Bennett), a seventeen-year-old girl who recently moved to a new town for a fresh start after her mother's terrifying psychotic break.

Dakota Fanning Rape Scene In "Hounddog" Pulled From Theaters

Movie executives have decided to pull the movie "Hounddog" from over 5,000 AMC theatres nationwide after protest over a scene where young Dakota Fanning is raped.

The controversial film was scheduled to hit movie screens late last year, but protests from family organizations created a legal investigation in certain areas of the United States over pornography issues that stalled the movie's release.

"Hounddog", a drama set in the American South, tells the story of a young precocious troubled girl (Fanning), who finds a safe haven in the music, and movement of Elvis Presley. The film also deals with the issue of sexual abuse.

Fanning says, "I didn't make the film to make a controversial film or a social commentary. I made the film for my heart and if it touches someone else's heart that's what it's about for me."

A North Carolina prosecutor who watched the coming-of-age film and reviewed it back in November 2007, declared that:

"While some people may find the film disturbing and distasteful, there was no evidence that the scene constituted sexual activity under North Carolina law."

Dakota Fanning, now 14-years-old, was only 12 when she shot the film. But some groups feel the scenes are perfectly appropriate. Hollywood Now President Lindsey Horvath says,

"Hounddog is a film that calls you to action. It returns innocence to the adolescent discovery of sexuality, and restores hope for those whose innocence has been taken."

During last weeks premier in New York City, Director Deborah Kampmeier said, "A lot of agendas are being projected off this film that have nothing to do with the film and they're being projected onto it by people who haven't actually seen the film. It's too bad."

Dakota Fanning will next bee seen in the adventure drama "The Secret Life Of Bees", starring Queen Latifah and Alicia Keys. The film is the moving tale of Lily Owens (Fanning), a 14 year-old girl who is haunted by the memory of her late mother.

Fanning is currently filming the dramatic "Hurricane Mary", the remarkable true story of one mother's tireless struggle to fulfill her dream of giving her severely disabled twins some semblance of a normal life while struggling in a public school educational system.

Dancing With The Stars - Jeffrey Ross And Kim Kardashian Get The Boot

One-eyed comic Jeffrey Ross was the first to be eliminated this season on "Dancing with the Stars."

The harsh comedian and Comedy Central Roast member never looked like he was any good from the beginning, but he did have a good reason for being so bad. His dance partner Edyta Sliwinska poked him in the eye during rehearsal earlier in the day, scratching his cornea and causing the comic to wear an eye-patch.

Ross danced anyway, despite doctors' orders, without the eye patch, and took home the lowest scores, and no sympathy from viewer voters.

"What a nightmare," Ross commented, "They told me Edyta was going to be easy on the eyes. I figured for sure it'd be her husband who poked me in the eye, not you."

The other celebrity walking away with Ross was Kim Kardashian, of bad reality show and leaked sex tape fame, who despite her good looks was criticized by the judges for not having any chemistry with her dance partner.

Kardashian commented, "My biggest challenge with the mambo is just shaking my butt, everybody thinks I know how, but I just really don't. I think I need Booty training 101".

That may be the understatement of the year. When the music started off, she shook her rear-end, but didn't keep up the pace at all.

The big winner, with 26 points, was Brooke Burke, who really showed she could dance, and used her body to her advantage.

And the there was cute little Cody Lindley who wants to be man so badly you can just smell it. The eighteen-year-old teen-idol and heartthrob is struggling thru those "awkward" years, but few think that dancing is the way to "man-up" his image.

Shia LaBeouf Learns The CIA Is Recording Celebrity Phone Calls

When Shia LaBeouf started his latest film "Eagle Eye", he met with CIA operatives to get an inside look at the organizations procedures and tactics. But the actor was shocked to learn what they have on him - and other Hollywood celebrities.

LaBeouf thought while filming "Eagle Eye," the tactics that CIA ops engaged in was pure cinematic fiction, until he met up with them to do a little research for his role.

Shia soon realized that Government operatives have all the inside dirt - phone conservations, e-mails, pictures and worse - on all the top celebrities and Hollywood power brokers.

"It is reality," Shia told the National Enquirer. "The scary thing is sitting down with CIA operatives who use this stuff in real life. They played me back phone conversations I've had. It was extremely embarrassing."

Most people believed this type of Government snooping went out with J. Edgar Hoover, but it looks like Washington is still keeping tabs on what happens in the high-priced game of Hollywood movie making. Watch out Jamie Lynn Spears, they may just have that picture of you breast-feeding your baby!

In addition to "Eagle Eye", LaBeouf is ready with "New York, I Love You", with an all-star cast including Kevin Bacon, Orlando Bloom, Hayden Christensen, Ethan Hawke, Cloris Leachman, Blake Lively, Elijah Wood, Natalie Portman and Christina Ricci.

"New York" is an anthology film combining several love stories set in one of the most loved cities of the world, New York, where twelve filmmakers will direct a short 5 minute film illustrating the universal theme of encountering love within the five boroughs of New York City.

Next June, Shia LaBeouf will star with Megan Fox and Rainn Wilson in the action thriller sequel "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen", where the battle for Earth has ended but the battle for the universe has just begun.

We suspect the CIA will be most interested in snooping around the set of "Transformers" in an effort to learn how to transform normal everyday items into weapons of mass destruction. Some secretes are never safe, especially in Hollywood.

A photograph of Jamie Lynn Spears breastfeeding her baby, Maddie, has been stolen and has started a federal pornography investigation, reports TMZ.

Baby Maddie's father, Casey Aldridge, had taken several pictures of Spears new baby and family including Britney, brother Brian, mother Lynne Spears, and Jamie Lynn and her daughter Maddie.

In one of the photos, Jamie Lynn's left breast is exposed while she was breast-feeding Maddie. The digital camera's memory stick was dropped off at a Wal-Mart photo center for processing, and law enforcement officials believe that an employee, who has tried selling the photos but has yet to be found, made extra copies using the stores equipment.

Authorities are trying to find the man who is attempting to sell the photos. In addition, Britney's lawyers are thinking about going after Wal-Mart for the alleged security breach.

At only seventeen years old, Jamie Lynn is still a minor, so the selling or purchasing of the photo could be considered a violation of federal laws prohibiting child pornography.

Jamie Lynn Spears is best known for her role on the Nickelodeon television series "Zoey 101", and has just completed work on the animated Howard Baker film "Unstable Fables: Goldilocks & 3 Bears Show".

The film stars Brooke Shields and Jamie Lynn Spears as Goldilocks. "Unstable Fables" retell classic fairy tales, folktale, and fables with a modern twist.

David Blaine Hangs Upside Down For 60 Hours - Watch Video

Magician David Blaine started a three-day illusion Monday, hanging upside down over New York's Central Park, in what some believe may be his most dangerous stunt ever.

Blaine, 35, was lifted upside down over Central Park's Wollmann ice skating rink, and plans to remain there, hanging by his ankles from a wire for 60 hours.

The magician, who has spent 72 hours enclosed in ice, gone 44 days without food in a glass box, spent a week under water, and been buried alive for days, told reporters that hanging upside down for three days will be his hardest challenge to date.

"This is the most difficult for sure. The others, you could get into them soon after the start, but this one is tough from the beginning".

He is attached at the waist and by two steel harnesses connecting his boots to the wire. For two nights and three days he will not eat or sleep. The metal frame from which he is suspended is four stories high, but Blaine can be lowered to ground level to communicate with the press and doctors.

Doctors are worried about the effect of the stress on Blaine's internal organs and blood circulation. He will not be eating, and will take in liquid through a straw, and will only be able to urinate through a catheter.

ABC television purchased live coverage rights to the Central Park event and is planning a two-hour prime time show on Wednesday evening featuring Blaine's illusion and his return to solid ground.

Blaine's assistant and agent Regina Dantas said she and the rest of Blaine's crew become worried each time he takes his magic to the edge. She commented to reporters:

"The doctor and his assistants are petrified. The outcome of his magic is always a big question mark, a big question mark. David is fearless. Death, I think, means something different to him."

In fact, several doctors have commented that this type of trick is very dangerous because the heart relies on gravity, to some extent, and is not used to pumping blood up to the feet as it will in Blaine's case. Blood may also drain to his head raising the risk of stroke or blood hemorrhage.

Doctors also say Blaine will have to contend with a restricted ability to breathe, because his diaphragm will be upside down with the weight of his intestines pushing upon it. And a lack of proper blood flow to his legs, if profound, may cause muscle tissue to die off as it is starved of oxygen.

But something tells us that with a major television network buying the advertising rights, and cameras at every angle, that everything will be just fine and Blaine will grab a lot of attention and money from the deal.

James Bond "Quantum Of Solace" New Movie Trailer And Early Review

The new James Bond 007 "Quantum Of Solace" movie trailer does not have the crash and bang action impact as the first one, but it does give some new clues to the whole "Quantum of Solace" mystery.

The film picks up an hour after the end of "Casino Royale", and revolves around the adventures of James Bond in a manipulative and dangerous mission of uncovering the truth behind the organization which blackmailed his former lover, Vesper Lynd, while fighting the urge to avenge his broken heart.

It seems that some bad guy desires "the world's most precious resource" and it's up to James Bond to stop him and his lively gang with an assortment of gut punches, flying kicks, jumping motorcycles, soaring speedboats, swooping helicopters, massive explosions, clever gadgets and the occasional look that kills.

Daniel Craig stars as the infamous James Bond, while Judi Dench heads up the Foreign Intelligence wing of Her Majesty's Secret Service as "M". The highlight of the new move trailer is when James Bond falls off a balcony while fighting with a bad guy. The lowlight is the opening segment of the clip with what looks like a high-tech car commercial.

But the plot seems to be a bit clearer now: On a mission that leads him to Austria, Italy and South America, James Bond discovers that Greene (Mathieu Amalric), is conspiring to take total control of one of the worlds most important natural resources, and is forging a deal with the exiled General Medrano.

Using his associates in the organization, and manipulating his powerful contacts within the CIA and the British government, Greene promises to overthrow the existing regime in a Latin American country, giving the General control of the country in exchange for an apparently desolate piece of land, which is a main source of the South American water supply.

In a web of deceit, murder and deception, James Bond (Daniel Craig) partners with old associates in a battle to uncover the truth. As Bond gets closer to finding the man responsible for the betrayal of Vesper, 007 must keep one step ahead of the CIA, the terrorists and even M, to unravel Greene's sinister plan and stop Quantum from getting its way.

"Quantum Of Solace" is due in theaters November 11, and has had its share of production problems along the way. Craig was rushed to hospital in June after hurting himself on-set in South America, and was recently seen nursing a bruised eye and broken arm, expensive set vehicles malfunctioned causing accidents, and fires here and there slowed production for weeks.

We suspect it will be worth the wait, even if just to hear the new soundtrack and theme song written by Jack White and Alicia Keys.

Darrell Hammond Does John McCain On Saturday Night Live - Video

Saturday Night Live hit another high point last night when Darrell Hammond portrayed John McCain in a funny skit with Bill Hader.

The skit shows John McCain and the group recording negative television campaign spots, and Hammond being amazed at the modern technology in the studio, and wandering if the things they are saying are true.

They record ads for health care, and then smear Barack Obama with basketball puns, gambling jokes, tax cut questions, pedophile references, and childbearing issues.

Miley And Billy Ray Cyrus Trying To Get Fired From Hanna Montana

Rumors have been swirling for months that teen sensation Miley Cyrus and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, are no longer happy with their deal with Disney, and that they want out of their "Hanna Montana" contract.

In fact, they have both mentioned publicly that they are ready to wind down the show and start focusing on their respective singing and movie careers.

But there is only one problem. They have a contract.

But reports are surfacing on the tabloid site TMZ that both Miley and Billy Ray have started a war on the set, and that people around them are not happy - especially Disney. Reports of showing up extremely late, infighting among the cast and crew, and Miley telling everyone she is trying to get fired seem to be fueling the fire.

Apparently there is a difference in their contracts fine print if they get fired rather than quit. Billy Ray has been telling anyone who will listen that there is way more money in a singing and touring career then in a Disney cable network family comedy.

TMZ also reported that Emily Osment, who portrays Lilly Truscott on the show, is so angry at Miley that she looks away from the actress after each scene is over, and that her dad got in a shouting match with Billy Ray, complaining that Miley was acting unprofessional.

Sources told the tabloid that Billy Ray has told people on the set that he and Miley will only do twelve more episodes and then they want out. Disney Executives are so upset with the Cyrus duo that they called their agent, accusing Billy Ray and Miley of being unthankful, and insisting that Billy Ray and Miley not only finish the twenty-four episode season due on their contract, but an addition six episodes to boot.

There has been no official word by Disney or the Cyrus camp, but we suspect this will not end amicably. Disney may have a hard time letting go of the millions of dollars that could be lost by winding down the show early.

In addition to filming her latest film "Hanna Montana: The Movie" due next May, Miley is finishing work on the animated family comedy "Bolt", with John Travolta due this November 21.

The film is the story of Bolt (John Travolta), a German Shepherd, who has lived his whole life on the set of his action TV show where he stars with Penny (Miley Cyrus), and believes he has superpowers. When separated from the studio by accident, he meets Mr. Mittens (Susie Essman) and a hamster named Rhino. Along the way, Bolt learns that he doesn't have superpowers and that the show is not realistic.

Billy Ray is also appearing in the "Hanna Montana" movie, and has just completed the family musical "Flying By" due next year starring opposite Heather Locklear. The film tells the story of a real estate developer who goes to his 25th high school reunion without his wife, and finds his old teenage band playing. They get him up on stage for a couple of songs, and convince him to come to a rehearsal - and join the band. His wife is outraged, his daughter thinks it's cool, and his Mother encourages him to enjoy life and go for it.

Travis Barker, DJ AM Badly Injured in Plane Crash - Four Others Dead - Photo

Prior "Blink 182" musician and drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) are the only survivors of plane crash involving a Learjet in South Carolina.

The plane crash killed all four others on board.

Barker and DJ AM were listed in critical condition as of Saturday afternoon.

Sources say us Travis Barker and DJ AM saved their own lives after their plane crashed by jumping out the door of the burning plane, almost immediately after the small jet came to a halt.

Barker, 32, and Goldstein, 35, were rushed to the Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia, according to hospital spokeswoman Beth Frits. She confirmed that AM and Barker were transported to a hospital in Columbia, following the crash. They were then transferred, AM by helicopter and Travis Barker by ambulance, to the Still Burn Center soon after.

The Lexington County Deputy Coroner has identified three of the four victims who died as pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim, California; co-pilot, James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, California; and Travis Barker's personal assistant, Chris "Little Chris" Baker, 29, of Studio City California.

A Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson said the jet was taking off at 11:53 p.m. Friday night when air traffic controllers saw sparks coming from the Lear Jet. She says the plane ran off the runway and crashed by a nearby road. The plane, a Lear 60, was taking the drummer to Van Nuys, California.

According to an Associated Press report, Barker and Goldstein played a free concert together, as TRVSDJ-AM, in Columbia on Friday night.

One witness, William Owens was driving down Highway 302 when he said he saw a fireball go across the road.

"I didn't know what I had seen -- it was maybe 800 feet in front of me, but as I approached it closer though I made out a fire. By then I was able to see the tail of the jet and I recognized it as a jet," Owens said.

The National Transportation Safety Board has scheduled a press conference for 11:30 a.m., and it is expected more details about the accident will be revealed at that time.

Barker had just completed work on a documentary film called "Concrete Jungle", scheduled to debut in January 2009. Set in the 1970's, where on opposite sides of the city and opposite sides of the country, two separate yet equally dynamic new art forms were emerging. Both possessed a rebellious spirit and quickly evolved into movements that have become a global phenomenon and the creative voice of a generation. Hip Hop and Skateboarding were born.

Ricky Gervais And Greg Kinnear Ready For "Ghost Town" - Review And Movie Trailer

You can always tell when summer is drawing to a close. The movies start to get a little better in anticipation of the Thanksgiving and Christmas blockbuster season.

On deck is "Ghost Town" starring Greg Kinnear and Ricky Gervais.

In real life, Ricky Gervais does not believe in ghosts, but put them on a movie screen and he's more than happy to see dead people.

Gervais, who stars in the supernatural romantic comedy "Ghost Town" told reporters at the Toronto Film Festival:

"I'm a skeptic across-the-board on ghosts and things like ESP and the afterlife. But it doesn't change the fact that the romance of Hollywood lets you take someone on a journey against their will, really, if it's done well."

"Ghost Town" casts Gervais as cynical New York dentist Bertram Pincus, who loves his job because people can't talk to him while he's working on them.

A near-death experience while under anesthesia for a Colonoscopy leaves Pincus with the ability to see ghosts - and they appear to him everywhere, in the park, at his office, in the bathroom, and in his bedroom. Pincus is the only person who can allow them to finally rest in peace, but only if he is willing to help them clear up unfinished business they have with the people they loved while still alive.

Greg Kinnear co-stars as Frank Herlihy, a manipulative adulterer in life who continues his devious ways after he's killed in a freak sidewalk accident. Frank promises Pincus that he can make the annoying ghosts go away forever if he will break up the approaching marriage of his widow, Gwen Herlihy (Tea Leoni).

"Ghost Town" runs 102 minutes, and is due in theaters September 19. The film is rated PG-13 for some strong language, sexual humor and drug references.

This movie may be a good way to usher out the dull summer sophomoric comedies, and get the ball rolling toward the upcoming fall blockbusters.

Brad Pitt Gives $100K To Defeat Prop 8 Gay Marriage Repeal

"Burn After Reading" star Brad Pitt has donated $100K to help defeat a California ballot proposal targeted at abolishing the right to gay marriage. California recently made it possible for gay couples to wed, and the rush to the altar has been amazing.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are now married. Star Trek's George Teki has hitched the knot, and Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson have announced they will be married by the end of the year.

Brad Pitt explained in a press statement:

"No one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn't harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8".

Pitt's generous gift is the largest to date by a Hollywood celebrity for a campaign against Prop 8.

During a 2006 press interview, Pitt told reporters that he and Angelina Jolie would not marry until all couples had the same rights.

"Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able."

Brad and Angelina have grabbed their fair share of attention for the adoption of several children, and for Jolie's artificial insemination resulting in their recent twins while not being married.

The intense interest comes at a time when more and more celebrities are feeling comfortable about being gay in public. Our just released top 10 list of openly gay male celebrities has received more traffic then any story we've ever written. People feel strongly that the Government should stay out of it and allow gay couples to get married and share the same rights as everyone else.

Political strategist Chad Griffin, who is helping coordinate efforts in the entertainment industry to defeat the controversial initiative, said he is hopeful that Brad Pitt's donation will prompt others to get involved, and said that Democratic billionaire Ron Burkle has agreed to host a large fundraiser at his home in October to rally Hollywood against Proposition 8.

Brad Pitt can currently be seen in the recently released thriller "Burn After Reading", starring alongside George Clooney, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich and Tilda Swinton.

Shia LaBeouf Ready With Thriller "Eagle Eye" - Early Review And Movie Trailer

Summer is winding down and Hollywood is starting to bring out their early autumn blockbusters in preparation for the holiday movie season.

This week, DreamWorks SKG and Shia LaBeouf unleash the action mystery thriller "Eagle Eye".

"Eagle Eye" is one of those, "Gosh, what if that ever happened to me" kind of movies, and Labeouf pulls it off with his innocent, but ruthless personality. Fortunately, LaBeouf had completed the film before he landed in the hospital for emergency surgery on a smashed wrist received when he rolled his truck.

Related Story: Shia LaBeouf Back To Work After Accident And Wrist Surgery

For "Eagle Eye", Shia LaBeouf re-teams with "Disturbia" director D.J. Caruso playing a young slacker whose overachieving twin brother dies mysteriously. When LaBeouf returns home, both he and a single mother find they have been framed as terrorists. Forced to become members of a terror network that plans to carry out a political assassination, they must work together to clear their names.

Jerry Shaw (Shia LaBeouf) and Rachel Holloman (Michelle Monaghan) are the two strangers thrown together by a mysterious phone call from a woman they have never met. Threatening their lives and family, she pushes Jerry and Rachel into a series of increasingly dangerous situations, using the technology of everyday life (cell phones and GPS) to track and control their every move.

As the situation escalates, they become the country's most wanted fugitives, and must try to discover what is really happening -- and more importantly, why.

There are some scary and intense moments in the film, and LaBeouf is spreading his wings and showing audiences he has the punch to carry a feature action film. Billy Bob Thornton makes a great adversary as the FBI agent trying to sort out the bizarre story. But it is clear from the opening that Shia LaBeouf is the star of this show.

So who is the female voice we hear on the phone? No one knows. Many actresses have been suggested, including Julia Roberts, Diane Lane, Carrie Ann Moss, and Rosario Dawson.

But we found out! The answer to the night's burning question came from "Eagle Eye" cast member Rosario Dawson during the movie premier in Los Angeles. Dawson blew the whistle on the famous actress behind the voice on the phone - it is Julianne Moore.

"Eagle Eye" will be in theaters September 26, and is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of action and violence, and for language.

Shoe Lacing Style

1. The lace is run straight across the bottom and emerges through both bottom eyelets.
2. The laces then go straight up and are fed into the next set of eyelets up the shoe.
3. The ends are crossed over and are fed under the vertical lace section on the opposite sides of the shoe before going straight up and into the next set of eyelets up the shoe.
4. At the top set of eyelets, the laces can once again cross over and pass under the straight section as shown. This not only looks consistent with the rest of the lacing but also forms a High Lace Lock, which tightens the lacing even more firmly. More images after the break...

1. The lace is run straight across the bottom and emerges through both bottom eyelets.
2. The ends are looped back under the lace where it feeds under the side of the shoe.
3. The ends are then crossed over each other, then they go under and out through the next set of eyelets up the shoe.
4. Steps 2 and 3 are repeated until both ends reach the top eyelets.

1. The lace runs straight across the second set of eyelets from the top of the shoe.
2. Cross the ends over and feed into the fourth set of eyelets, skipping the third set.
3. Continue down the shoe, two sets of eyelets at a time.
4. At the bottom, run the laces vertically between the bottom and second from bottom eyelets
5. Double back and work your way back up the shoe through the vacant sets of eyelets.

2. The left (red) end is spiralled up the left side of the shoe, with the end fed under and emerging from each eyelet.
3. The right (orange) lace is spiralled up the right side of the shoe, at each eyelet looping through the left (blue) lace in the middle of the shoe before feeding under and emerging from the next eyelet.

1. The lace is run straight across the bottom and emerges through both bottom eyelets.
2. One end of the lace (orange end) runs straight up the right side, is fed into and runs straight across the second set of eyelets.
3. Both ends now run straight up the left side, each skipping one eyelet before feeding in two eyelets higher up.
4. Continue running both ends across the shoe, then straight up two eyelets at a time.
5. At the top of the shoe, the laces end up on the same side and the shoelace knot is tied at that point.

2. One end of the lace (orange end) runs straight up the right side, emerges from and runs straight across the second set of eyelets.
3. The other end (red end) runs diagonally underneath and, skipping the 2nd set of eyelets, emerges from and runs straight across the 3rd set of eyelets.
4. Continue running each lace diagonally across and up 2 sets of eyelets until one end (orange in my example) reaches the top right eyelet.
5. The other end (red in my example) then runs straight up the left side to emerge from the top left eyelet.
1. The lace runs straight across and emerges from the third set of eyelets from the bottom.
2. Both ends run straight down and are fed into the second set of eyelets from the bottom.
3. Both ends again run straight down and emerge from the bottom set of eyelets.
4. Both ends now run straight up along the outside and are fed into the fourth set of eyelets (the first vacant pair).
5. The ends are crossed over each other, then they go under and out through the next set of eyelets up the shoe.
6. Repeat step (5) until both ends reach the top.
1. The lace is run straight across the bottom and is fed into rather than emerging from both bottom eyelets.
2. The ends are crossed over, then inserted into the next set of eyelets up the shoe.
3. This process is repeated until both ends reach the top eyelets and end up inside.

1. The lace runs straight across the bottom and emerges through both bottom eyelets.
2. Skipping two sets of eyelets, cross the ends over and feed into the fourth set of eyelets.
3. Both ends now run straight down one eyelet and emerge from the third set of eyelets.

6. Cross the ends over, feed under and emerge from the top set of eyelets (skip past 2 sets of eyelets).
1. The lace is run diagonally and emerges from the bottom left and the top right eyelets.
2. The top (red) end of the lace is zig-zagged from the top set of eyelets down to the middle eyelets in a similar manner to the Shoe Shop Lacing.
3. The bottom (orange) end of the lace is similarly zig-zagged from the bottom set of eyelets up to the middle eyelets.
1. Start with two pairs of different colour laces, preferably the wide, flat variety (I was lucky to receive two such pairs with my last runners!).
2. With one colour (orange in my example), lace the shoe using either Straight (Fashion) or Straight (Lazy) Lacing.
3. With the other colour (red in my example), start at the bottom of the shoe and weave the lace in and out of the other lace until you reach the top.
4. Fold around the top lace and head back down, weaving out and in until you reach the bottom.
5. Continue across the shoe until you're out of room or out of lace, whichever comes first 6. Tuck all the loose ends of the laces into the shoe.
1. The lace runs straight across the bottom and emerges from both bottom eyelets
2. Cross the ends over and feed into the 4th set of eyelets up the shoe (skip past 2 sets of eyelets)
3. Both ends now run straight up and emerge from the 5th set of eyelets.
