  • Rabbit: Fourteen-year-old George, from Tewksbury, Massachusetts in the US, was recognised as the oldest rabbit in the world by the Guinness Book of World Records earlier this year.
The average life expectancy of a rabbit is six to eight years, making George an estimated 160 years old in human terms. His owners met at college and fed their pet Doritos.

  • Cat: Spike, a ginger and white tom, died two months after his 31st birthday in July 2001 - making him the world's oldest cat.
He was bought for two shillings and sixpence in London's Brick Lane market in 1970 and nearly died at the age of 19 when he was attacked by a dog.
Spike's owners, from Bridport in Devon, used to put aloe vera gel into his cat food.

  • Spider: The world's oldest spider is thought to have been a female from the Theraphosidae family, which lived up to the age of 28. The bird-eating arachnid was captured in Mexico in 1935.
Dog: At 29, black Labrador Bella was thought to be the oldest dog in the UK until her death in September.
She was bought from an RSPCA sanctuary 26 years ago and lived out her long life in Derbyshire.

She lived a "stress-free" life at the Japan Monkey Centre in Aichi, 150 miles west of Tokyo. The average black spider monkey lives for between 30 and 33 years.

  • Goldfish: Tish beat all the records by living to a ripe old age of 43 after being won a funfair in Doncaster in 1956.
As he aged, his scales faded from orange to silver but his owner Hilda Hand said the key to his longevity was not feeding him too much and placing him in the sun every now and then.

  • Clam: An ocean qahog clam dredged up off the coast of Iceland last year is thought to have been around 410 years old.

Photo: Rihanna Photo After Chris Brown Beating Shown On TMZ

We don't know how they do it, but they did it.

TMZ has acquired the police photo of singer Rihanna taken just moments after her beating by Chris Brown.

The LAPD, seeming to run for cover, also released a statement:

"The LAPD does not and will not release any victim's photos. It's that simple. We have not."

Brown, 19, was arrested for the beating, while the Grammy Awards Ceremony he was supposed to appear at went on - without him. He was released from jail on $50,000 bail.

Rihanna , who turns 21 today, is cooperating with police.

Brown issued a statement last week apologizing, and said he was seeking counseling. He is due in court on March 5.

Salma Hayek Marries Billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault

Salma Hayek is a romantic one.

She just got married to Frenchman Francois-Henri Pinault Saturday in Paris.

It was Valentines Day.

The wedding was a small one, and followed a troublesome romance. The two met in Italy in 2006, announced their engagement and had a baby, Valentina Paloma. Last year they ended the engagement, but reconciled a few months later.

Mexican born Hayek, 42, was nominated for an Oscar in 2003 for the film "Frida," the biography of the painter Frida Kahlo, and is one of the executive producers of the television series "Ugly Betty". She has recently been seen in a recurring role with Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin on "30 Rock".

Pinault, 46, is chief executive of the French retail group PPR SA, which owns high-end brands like Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Puma.

Salma will next be seen this August in the action thriller "Cirque du Freak", starring John C. Reilly, Willem Dafoe, Jane Krakowski and young Josh Hutcherson.

The film tells the story of a young boy named Darren Shan (Chris Massoglia), who meets a mystifying man at a freak show who turns out to be a Vampire. After his encounter, Darren must leave his normal life and go on the road with the Cirque Du Freak and become a Vampire.

Week In Photos: February 8-14, 2009

Jessica Simpson flaunted her curvier figure during a performance at Madison Square Garden Thursday. "I've had times when my pants split right down the middle when I bent down to reach a note," the singer revealed. "That's why I'm wearing a skort -- not a skirt, not a short -- just so they wouldn't split."

Tori Spelling (seen here at Friday's Heart Truth Red Dress Show) spoke out last week about her suddenly skinny frame. "They scrutinize you so much," the actress told Usmagazine.com. "You try to be the person who says, 'Oh, I don't care,' but I feel the pressure."

Rumors circulated last week that "Grey's Anatomy" stars Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight would be leaving the show at the end of the season. Show creator Shonda Rhimes neither confirmed or denied the departures, telling reporters "I'm not saying what's going to happen on the show, but that is a rumor." Heigl had no comment at Wednesday's Orange Bone Pet Store opening.

Nicollette Sheridan will definitely leave "Desperate Housewives" after this season, producers confirmed. The actress dined with rumored boyfriend David Spade at The Ivy Thursday night.

Joaquin Phoenix's senses may have departed him during a bizarre interview on "The David Letterman Show." Phoenix appeared dazed, swore, and stuck his gum beneath Letterman's desk. Some believe Phoenix's behavior is merely a stunt, especially since Casey Affleck is constantly following and filming him.

Jennifer Hudson continued her triumphant return to the spotlight. The singer/actress picked up three trophies at the 40th NAACP Image Awards on Thursday.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher were ranked as the no. 1 and 2 offenders in PETA's annual "Worst Dressed" poll. The criticism didn't faze Moore, who donned a fur coat to the premiere of "Happy Tears" in Berlin on Wednesday.

Renee Zellweger stepped out early last week with new beau Dan Abrams. Abrams is the chief legal correspondent for NBC News and MSNBC.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi admitted to Ladies Home Journal that they bicker like any other married couple. One thing they fight over? Portia's habit of leaving half-empty beverages all over their home. "I was going to thank [Ellen] in our vows, for picking up all the glasses," Portia revealed. Both added they are happy and content being married.

There's definitely no love between Hilary Duff and Faye Dunaway. Duff is starring in a remake of Dunaway's iconic film "Bonnie and Clyde." Duff lashed back: "I might be mad if I looked like that now, too" and defended her comments on Bonnie Hunt's show Tuesday.

What Were They Thinking?!

We absolutely adore Kelly Clarkson, but we also happen to abhor this unflattering gown.

Could Gwyneth Paltrow look any more matronly? This Balmain jacket, Calvin Klein dress, and dull 'do make her look older than her 66-year-old mother, Blythe Danner!

Heidi Montag might love her custom manicure, but we think her "I heart SP (Spencer Pratt)" nails are unsightly.

Is that Courtney Love, or Captain Jack Sparrow?

Solange Knowles strikes again in a ghastly getup consisting of a bedazzled headband, a Pepto Bismol-pink mini, and futuristic footwear.

Irish singer-songwriter Roisin Murphy's parachute pants are painful to look at. Guess what? It's no longer "Hammer Time!"

We'll let her outrageous outfit and crispy coif slide this time, but Dolly's neon nails are unfortunately unforgivable.

If Mischa Barton can't afford a stylist, perhaps she should just stay at home.

When is Taylor Momsen going to do something about those lackluster locks ... or her affinity for curtain-like dresses?

Former "Cosby" kid Keshia Knight Pulliam arrived at the 40th NAACP Image Awards in a revealing blue prom bomb.

"30 Rock" star Jane Krakowski is a hottie, but her patriotic mess of a dress is a tad too much.

Unfortunately, "that's so Raven."

Hilary Duff Is Red Hot

Here’s Hilary Duff arriving ‘At Heart Truth Red Dress Show’ in none other than a hot red dress. It’s not very often that we see celebs wear so much color because looking like a bum is in for some reason, which in my line of work is a serious pain in the ass. Anyway, it’s quite refreshing to see Hilary like this. Hopefully, this will be a start of a new trend called looking presentable.

Amanda Bynes Gets Cheeky On The Runway

Newly-single Amanda Bynes let it all hang out for New York Fashion Week's kick-off today.

The star, who just split from Brody Jenner-pal Doug Reinhardt, was one of several stars that walked the runway for Heart Truth, an annual fashion show that relieves models of their duties and replaces them with stars.

Bynes, 22, wore a supershort Swarovski design in red (naturally) with crystal detail. And one other important detail? She flashed the crowd.

"We saw cheek," reports The Cut.

To balance a steamy Amanda was a modest Jennie Garth in tow with 90210 pal Tori Spelling (who stumbled a little), as well as Hilary Duff, Katie Couric, Brittany Snow and Vivica Fox.

The show was hosted by recently-tapped ABC Oscar correspondent Tim Gunn.
